Just a quick update. Unfortunately I have been unable to do any work on the boat due to these dang cold and wet winter rain storms. Hoping to be able to get back to work on it over the weekend or on Monday. Next step is pb'ing in the stringers.

I have a 1979 striper as well and just tore the deck off and was laughing when I saw the short and stubby 1x6's in 4 places about 24" on center from each other starting at the front of the bilge box. Made me scratch my head and wonder huh....
