Is it OK to leave the choke [ 91-- 25 hp ] in the manual position all the time ? I can pump up the fiel bulb tight and the motor will ususaly start on the first crank befor the starter drops out of the flywheel. this way I don't need to take motor cover off and put back on after starting...
have a 91 evinrude 25 hp that the starter won't stay engaged to start -- battery is good and all connection are good<br />need any help I can get no one here can figer it out
my 91 evinrude 25 hp that I just purchase will not keep the starter engaged past the first compression turn [ had the starter rebuilt and still dose the same ] it has 12 V at the starter on cranking - the battery is good and also put in new starting switch .So it will not turn over long enough...
