Is there a way around taking the motor off the support assembly so that I can get to the trim& tilt electric motor screws for replacement with a new motor???? At this point I do not see how to get a phillips head screw driver on all the screws without taking the main engine off the support...
I just started reading this forum regularly. In Tashsdaddy
you have an excellent source of help and advice. I have been fooling with my own boat/trailer for 40+ years and
always learn something.
My new fishfinder with the only voltage readout avaliable is sounding its alarm and showing 16.5+volts. Could I be having a problem with a defective rectifier/regulator? All other eletrical system seem to be working fine.
The alarm sounds at about 50% power. Idle is reading
about 14.0V.
Thanks.
First I though I had a fuel flow problem as I could not
hear the alarm buzzer before engine cut back to idle
speed. Looks like buzzer corroded from damp location
under center console.
Anyway, what is the recommended cooling system evaluation sequence for water pump, thermostat, thermoswitch...
