    1996 4.3 volvo drive after 5 to 6 hours off running oil is up about quarter of an inch on stick with gas put a complete carb kit in it and still same thing it has an electric fuel pump is it possible that pump is putting out to much preasure the boat runs fine when running slight hesatation off...

    I have a 1996 4.3 volvo drive with holley 2 brl carb electric fuel pump. If i run it for 5 to 8 hours my oil will go up about one litre on the stick. I changed needle and seat and still problem.does not leak when sitting put a shut off vale on.will gas leak by power vale when boat is runnig.
