    They were both changed on Saturday. So you think something is sticking? New float, gasket, needle sbd seat and that tiny little spring like thing.

    Since I got the experts here, merc 4.5hp. Changed impeller, not getting as good of water flow as after I changed it. Pulled foot again, impeller is mint. Any ideas?

    Ok thanks. Just wanted to know what that hole was. There’s nothing on diagrams that I’ve seen to indicate that it was a vent.

    My dad did 😞 he bought the wrong puller. So is that home supposed to be there? But not allow fuel through I’m guessing lol. are you thinking the float or needle valve isn’t sitting correctly now?

    Hey guys. My dad helped me rebuild carb on 9.5 johnson. Above the carb, kinda by the needle valve, there’s a hole and gas is coming out. Looked on parts fiche and can’t seem to find anything about it. I will try to add picture. Any info would be great. thanks

    1975 mercruiser 165 starting issue

    My engine won’t start. Just clicks. Batteries are good. I read to jump starter solenoid but I’m not sure which 2 wires to jump. Including a pic of what I think is the solenoid. Any help much appreciated.
