Anything to be aware of besides needing premium gas? Motor has what I consider low hours on it (85 hrs).
This style boat I know was designed for fishing in coastal waters. I live up here in N. Wisconsin near Green Bay. I have an opportunity to purchase a "Bay" style boat at a very reasonable price and was wondering who out there may be using one on fresh water lakes/rivers.

This boat is listed as a saltwater boat. I like the floorplan and thinking about it for freshwater use (ie: Lake Michigan, larger lakes here in Wisconsin and possibley the U.P. Anyone using one of these for freshwater use and what's your thoughts on it.
After several years of deciding whether to repower from a perferctly good Mercury 4-stroke to the ETEC, I finally convinced myself to do it.
So far am am very pleased with the decision and very impressed with the motor, however...
the motor is propped with a Viper 13 7/8 X 15, very quick out...
