Our '64 Starcraft Jupiter has been serving us well
But a larger family required a larger vessel. And that's when i found it - 23' 1970 Uniflite Express Cruiser w/ Hardtop. I'll be posting my progress here

I picked up a 1964 Starcraft Jupiter just about this time last year. It was rough - floors squishy, rotten transom, 30hp Rude, mostly original, and no leaks!
At the end of the season I had the hull soda-blasted in prep for the resto.
Polished the hull to right above the splashrail...
As with other Tin restoration projects, my '64 SC Jupiter needs new wood to include the sole aka floor. I've been playing with the idea of ditching plywood all-together and going with 1x4 cedar planking that runs from bow to stern with 3/8" gap between planks. I read a similar discussion here...
The '64 Starcraft Jupiter is still in the water, and i'm trying to plan out the restoration process so its ready next season. Part of that plan is to start with stripping the hull to remove the suspect application of petit, which is now flaking off. I've contacted some soda blasting operators...

New to the starcraft cult. Picked up a '64 Starcraft Jupiter, non-leaker w/ '91 30hp Evinrude for $800. Solid Transom but floor squishy in spots. I'll probably start to replace both when the leaves fall. The interior shined up nicely, but i'll have to go through and replace panels...
