Did a compression test on my merc 4.3 and all 5 cylinders read 180psi except for 1 cylinder which read 160-165 psi. Is this an acceptable difference? The boat also hasn’t been running for a while. Thanks for your input.
Haven't put it in the water yet. But did my due diligence by inspecting everything else based on my research and knowledge. It only had one owner and the outdrive,motor, hull was immaculate. Another reason why I pulled the trigger. I just really hope my clumsiness isn’t going to cost me a lesson.
