    Winterizing 351 Windsor

I am winterizing this 1989 Bayliner with a 351 Windsor. To the best of my knowledge I think there is four drain plugs on this engine. There are two on the front of the exhaust manifolds underneath. And there is one on the lower starboard Front and one on the port back side. I just want to...

    Control Box shifting cable

So I had my lower shift cable replaced and have had it back to the mechanic twice for shifting issues. The last time he told me that my shift cable had some slack going from the control box to the engine but he adjusted it as best as possible but it was maxed out. I just took it to the lake and...

    Speedometer sticking

I have a 1989 bayliner and just had the engine rebuilt. The speedometer hose was disconnected on the outside of the boat for who knows how long. I got everything reconnected and the speedometer only works once I'm going 25-30. Any thoughts on why? Or a fix?

    Temp gauge

So I just had an engine rebuilt on my 1989 21 foot Bayliner. It has a 351 Windsor 5.8 L motor. When I go to start the engine the temperature gauge flickers a little but never seems to move. How can I test the gauge to see if it is bad ? Or any other suggestions?

    Moisture in oil??

I just had a 351 Windsor rebuilt. First two times putting it in the water I am working out some kinks. I pulled the engine oil fill cap and there was the white sludge on the cap. I got a hold of my mechanic and he said he thought it was just moisture from a really wet winter and it will go...
