    They checked the transom for me at the boat shop and it was actually good. Only spot stringers were rotted were in the ski cubby. Deck was bad from a junk patch job from the owner before.

    So I posted months ago of this gem I got from my parents for free. Sunk some money into the motor to get it running and just need to do a tune up on it (which I can do myself). Now onto the next project of fixing the deck and filling the soft spots I found on the left stringer.

    I have an appointment with a shop to look at the flywheel so haven’t done anything yet. I can do electrical, etc. just not motors. Seems like it’d be worth it because all I’ve found is they’re heavy duty and increasingly rare.
