i purchased premium gear lube from walmart...because i needed type C ..but now that i have bought it the container says Do not use in electric shift units !!<br /> I thought i was suppose to use Premium...It was alot more expensive than the regular hi - vis ....What do i do ??
i have an 85hp johnson 1969 model ...i believe it has an electric shift.... reverse and neutral were fine when i had taken it out early in the day but as i was pulling up to the boat ramp i put it in reverse and gave it some throttle and it went forward !!!!!!!!! so now when i test it out...
