You need those special nylon ties....the ones that are more rounded. It won't come off again. I'm pretty sure Racer mentioned that.

If that crank seal was bad you'd have running issues. I think you need to go run that motor hard somewhere. Burn it out.

You don't need to pierce the wire in there. You slide your pick in-between the wire and the wire cover until you hit the metal...
