    Optimax Fuel Pumps Won't Shut Off

    I have 2001 twin 150 Optis and when I shut the keys off the port fuel pumps continue to run. Once I shut off the batteries they stop and when I turn them back on the pumps stay off. Any idea what controls the fuel pumps on these motors or what to check first? Thanks

    Can I Bypass A Yamaha Trim Sensor?

    Yamaha 250 Ticking Sound?

    My 93 250 has a ticking sound coming from the top of the motor towards the front. I pulled the plugs and turnd the motor by hand and can't hear anything. It sounds almost like a lifter on a 4 stroke. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe wrist pin. What does that sound like? Thanks
