    boat was sittin' funny so I crawled under and then crawled out in a hurry.... the main fore and aft beam( 2''x3'' Galv.about 16' long) has sagged and is rusted out...It 's a Venture trailer and the wheels & axles are pretty new.....Does anyone know if this beam,or one like it, is available...

    my battery box size is for a lawn mower type battery..... the tired battery has no info on it. how many c.cranking hr. battery should be used for a '90 ,9.9 Johnson??

    my old faithful 1988 9.9 md.#J 10 ECCD is trying to tell me somethin' is wrong...starts normal ,but doesn't sound 100% lately...idles o.k. but will stall 50% of the time while idling... but it always did that...........the last time we went to sea the motor would ''miss a beat'' every so...

    Need new battery question

    I have a 15' rowboat w/ a 1992 9.9 Johnson w/ electric start.....I need a new battery and have been using an old lawn mower battery for a while, but it too is getting weak. Will a new lawn mower size battery be sufficient sufficient to start this motor ???

    1988 9.9 jonhson not running

    it ran fine till last month....rebuilt carb....ran good for 2 hrs.....started acting up again..took carb off...changed some hoses...new 3"hose from in line filter to carb....still not running right {starts but stalls} seems to run at hi rpm ok.......if you maintain pressure on the fuel system...

    God bless the people who designed and built the 1970 4hp. evinrude...I never said that about any other make or model i've owned....quite the opposite in fact.....however how do you tell if she's pumping enough water,other than spiting on the head.???:confused:
