    I noticed when I started the motor theres a small hole directly under the lower unit where the lower and upper unit come together rite by the front of the lower unit closest to the transom. there was some oil leaking from there after I shut it off is this normal?     lower unit 88 spl

    Where the lower unit bolts are there is some oil coming out in the middle. It is winterized and has not been run since last season. The oil isn't dripping it's just remnants. I've noticed it before but the motor ran great last season. Is this normal? When i changed the oil it looked fine.

    does anyone have a schematic for the 88hp johnson with a vro tank. How reliable is the vro and There is no warning buzzer on my <br />boat for the vro, is it needed even if you put a little oil in your gas anyway. Sorry for allthe questions.

    When putting the boat up for the winter do you have to do anything to the oil in the VRO tank or will it stay good?

    witerizing my 88hp johnson

    I haven't had a boat for a long time. I don't have the money to winterize it right now and winter is creeping up. I bought the foging oil and fuel stabilizer but I noticed the carbs are covered with a gasket and plate. It has a vro tank. Any help is much appreciated. :confused:
