    Where do I start to adjust the carb from scratch. I'll use a pail to get it kinda close, I'm almost ready to fire it up. I originally removed carb, cause the choke coil showed open....fried.     fuse sizeing

    I have 68 40 hp rude. I rewired the whole boat. I'm not sure what size of fuse to use for the starter solenoid, its just a small automotive one. Same goes for the choke, I have the starter and choke on the same circuit, but I can split them if need be:D

    Rhino Coating?

    Would Rhino coating stick to the inside of an aluminun boat with the factory "speckel?" paint? Would it be flexible enough? The flloors are bare alum. now, and the walls have the finish on. I just wanna cover the sharp sufaces, so the kids won't hurt they're feet, I don't want to sacrifice...

    timing on 40 hp ski twin

    :confused:I was looking at all my throttle linkage, intstalling controls. My question is, how do i know the timing is on? Its an old motor, and im sure its been tinkered with, by the look of the screws, bolts and such. I can check it with my meter, for closed points, or I have a timing light...

    1968 ski twin, tach and kill switch circuit

    Hi, New to this site. I have an 68 ski twin. I want to hook a tach up and find out how the kill switch circuit works. The motor did not come with factory wiring loom or control box, all the connections will be made inside engine cover. thanks Sam
