    Johnson 20 fast idle

    Hi folks, i have a J20 (1975) and although she runs well the idle is too fast and will not settle down, i have tried all the obvious external options, is this a carb off situation, if so where do you think the problem might be?

    I have just got hold of an old OMC motor which i want to tinker around with, can anyone ID the model and age for me. Serial numbers are, 15802M C565475 Looking at it i recon its an 18hp Evinrude mid 60's.......

    Suzuki DT8 shaft conversion?? HELP!

    hi folks, can anyone tell me how difficult it would be to swap the mid section of a 1983 DT8 onto a 1981 DT8, ie convert a long shaft into short, the 1983 runs well but is crabby on the outside, the 1981 is new!! (discovered in an old guys loft).
