I was running up the lake yesterday and the engine just shut down. I figured out that is was the 20 amp trim/motor fuse in the engine. I replaced the fuse and it worked fine until I throttled the boat up. I then replaced it again. As long as I kept the boat around half throttle it worked...
I purchased a new solenoid. I'm going to put in on this weekend. The boat is 250 miles away. When I would turn the key over there would be a series of clicking noises from the solenoid. I replaced the battery also. I was able to jump the starter from the old battery and the engine started...
