Need a Powerhead overhaul kit for this model. I cant figure out what the ''G" stands for and cant find any information on this motor. Water pump went out and motor got hot. Cyclinders are scored and compression is to low for engine to start. I want to try and rebuild. I want to replace all that...
I have a 96 model evinrude 15 horse that needs a top end overhaul. Will require a bore job or insert sleeves. Any idea on who I can get to do this and what it will cost.
bought motor unseen and enigne runs fine on top end and at idle but when put into gear it wants to bog and die unless you pull choke and give it the gas. pulled plugs imedeatly after it dies and plugs are wet. seems to me like its flooding out when a load is put on motor. Compression is 90 psi...
