    trim limit switches can they be bypased

    can you bypass the trim limit switches? if so do i just jumper them out on the inside of the boat? 1981 four winns 170mercruisier 18 ft i/o pre alpha cuddy

    1984 4 winns gimbal removal

    will i have to remove the motor to get the gimbal unit off the boat. the motor is a mercruiser 170 with a prealpha drive.the motor is really close to the back of the boat. i can't getto the bottom bolts.do they come off from the outside or only from the inside of the boat. i'm new to the boat...
