I HAVE NOTICED THE ALLENBOLT ON MY CONTROLLER IS MISSING DOES ANYONE KNOW THE SIZE .THE THROTLE IS A QUICKSILVER 88150A7.IT IS THE ONE THAT SCREWS IN FROM THE BOTTOM.
hi my trim control on the throtle works on the down position but it wont trim up.it will trim up however by useing the trailer button. this seems to say the the pump is fine. the switch seems good on the throttle. any ideas please.
after having a new long engine fitted by marine engineer,i changed the oil in the sump after 20hours.i found he had at least 5lts of oil,well above the dipstick full mark.would this have caused any problems.the origanal hand book said 4.28 with new filter. 4.3ltr v6 merc
I HAVE NOTICED A STAINLESS STEEL WIRE,I THINK IT MUST BE A GROUND,FREYING.IT IS CONNECTED TO THE LEG AND THE HOUSING.ANY BODY KNOW WHAT THE FUNTION OF THIS WIRE IS.I DO HAVE A MERCATHODE SYSTEM ON THE ENGINE.1989 4.3MERC/ALPHA1 OUTDRIVE.
hi,i live in the UK,if i buy a gps via internet from the USA, would it have info on the uk programed into it.i have seen ads saying they have u.s.a. info pre installed
just found a loose bolt on my alfa one leg. it is one on the lower unit where the leg splits.one or two mm not hanging right off.could this cause me any problems.
after having engine replaced & gimble bearing replaced, i find i am taking on water.not much when underway,but when left overnight it takes on a gallon or more.merc 175 v6, alfa one leg :confused:
after having a recon merc 4.3 v6 engine i notice one riser is warm & the other is cold, is this normal. the engine was running for 30 mins.<br />the manifolds & risers are new. also noticed small<br />amount of steam from the exhaust area<br />thanx. :confused:
