This boat is 11'4" long, and I have a 1979 Merc 70 mounted on a 10" setback jackplate with a 10 3/8 X 14pt 3 blade prop. I'm unsure of the prop manufacturer. I'm in the "dial-in" process, The jackplate it came with had no adjustments so I had to redrill the holes, and think I'm about correct...
It's not securely mounted yet, but finally got to see motor on the boat. I like how it fits and can't wait to run it. Under the driver side "windshiel" the guages are mounted on a piece of plywood that is weathered and looks terrible. What are people using for their dashboards? A friend...

I mounted the jack plate to the transom. I was anxious to finally see what the boat looked like with a motor on it, it's not mounted, just resting on there. I realize the hp is aggressive, but i'm happy with the physical size of the motor in relation to the boat.

It does have tilt & trim. Obviously I'm new to motor mounting, could you explain more about the spacer you mentioned please? I take it I make it out of a 1"x6", is it so the clamps on the motor have something thicker to clamp to?
