    70 hp Evinrude wont run wide open

    I have a 1974 70hp evinrude,idles great but when i put in gear it just bogs down if i put it in nuetral and rev throttle in revs up,but not in gear.please help

    1974 70hp evinrude clutchdog

    I havea 1974 70 hp engine,my problem is i bought a lower unit rebuild kit and a manual.i pulled clutch dog pin out and removed dog to install new one and three ball baerings fell out and small spring,how these go back in.book does not show or say. thanks ,Scott

    1974 evinrude jumps out of gear

    i have a 1974 evinrude,when run wide open it jumps out of gear,bring it back to three quarter throttle it stays in.any ideas?
