Just finished fixing up my 73 reinell with a 302Mercruiser.
Took it out and had a blast.:D
Trim tabs seemed to be reallllly slloow or I guess busted.
Steering was kinda ok...I think I need one of those spinning knobs..
The big problem I didnt see was the alt. waterpump belt doesnt line...
1. I just want good mpg and descent speed
2. PN#48-78120-19 aluminum very damaged
3. 14 X 19 PITCH
4. 4200rpm I think speeds about 40mph just two people
5. Dont know the year 302 5.0L Mercruiser PO said it was like 380hp its a jasper rebuild
6. !973 reinell rv 2200? cuddy runabout 21ft...
OK, I disconnected the shifter and pushed it in to forward position and now I cant move it to adjust it. It did seem to move easy before I replaced the impeller. Please tell me there is a trick or something and I don't have to replace the cable.
