Is there a filter on the accelerator pump? I can’t seem to see it. Unless it’s tucked in with the carbs hidden maybe

I don’t think my fuel pump is a diaphragmn it pumps from air from a hose that goes into the block

Are these accelerator pumps hard to change? Where are they exactly located

I did swap out the bottom plug with the #3. And maybe the enricher valve was stuck or something stuck in it because it didn’t shoot any gas through it at first and then I finally got it to . Once did that and swapped the plugs out it’s been running fine. Just wondering if the enricher valve...

Would the enricher valve cause the fuel to be in the bottom cylinder like that ?

Well It wouldn’t start so I took the bottom plug out and it started on three cylinders and gas was coming that cylinder hole. So I tested the e for her valve and it being was coming out at first and then went back and tested it again and then it wa ls flowing fuel. Still cooks t get it to start...

Does anyone know the spark plug number for this motor? The one that are in are flat and don’t look like a traditional spark plug. When I look it up it’s giving me the traditional style . Was hoping someone might be able to get me a number

I forgot to add that as well. I did try that as well took the yellow wires that come from the stator to the rectifier abs still nothing

Well I replaced the stator/trigger and rectifier and took the key switch out of the equation and still have no spark. I am now only left with the switch box. Hopefully this works. If it doesn’t I am at a loss

I did an ohms reading and have nothing on the blue wires but have a reading in the red ones.. so I’m assuming the stator is shot

Now is it common for the stator to go in these motors?

Does any know what part number the stator is. I can’t seem to find the correct one online. Is it a 9amp one? Any help or links to the correct one would be great

Could it also be a bad Mercury switch?
