    I want to wire a tach into my old Fleetwin. Just for diagnosis and tuning. Can I simply tap a wire between the primary on the coil and the condenser, and then ground back to the crankcase? I don't want to spend money on an inductive tach (like tinytach) but have access to old/surplus analog...

    '54 Fleetwin Ignition part numbers

    Hi, I have a 54 fleetwin (7516) in need of new coils and condenser, points, wires, etc. I thought it was starting to drop a cylinder last time I took it out last season, and now it starts, misfires, and dies out after less than a minute of idling. anyone have part numbers or a diagram?
