    seabuddy re: seabuddy

Some know me on the board but many do not. Let me fill in some details, if I may. BTW, I generally ask those who know me not to bring it up on the boards. I want to keep my personal life separate from my boating board stuff and in this way I occasionally find good friends from the board...

    Swim ladder, mounted or detached?

A detachable swim ladder can be hung from the curved section of this transom on the metal rectangle. Would this work well for you?

    Plaque...along the Hudson

Our nation?s waterways have many uses and interesting sites for us boaters to enjoy. Here?s a Plaque that recalls one of the uses that is perhaps not seen often, ship storage. The ?Mothball Fleet? was the outcome of a committee that was first set-up in 1943, during WW II. The last ship on the...

    Touch of Class act

At an in-the-water boat show, I saw a very classy treatment for an otherwise dead spot between the floats and a boat on display. It?s the company?s logo skimming the water?s surface. The logo was mounted on a rectangular dark plaque. Very much a top-notch touch-of-class in my book!

Bowrider boat for NYC on the Hudson River

A good friend, his two boys, and I had a blast in a 20-foot bow rider on the Hudson River. At first I wondered whether we would need a larger boat for that waterway. So, in a sense, this post is about how to have fun with what you?ve got. The George Washington Bridge. It was a...

20 foot boat, Gas or diesel, I/O or O/B

A friend thinks he wants a 20' boat with more seating behind the windscreen for a better ride, and he?s found a boat that he thinks will do it. The reason for placing the extra seating in the back of the boat? He figures that the further back towards the transom, the better the ride will be. In...
