    Gaskets...to seal or not?

    I'm replacing the head and exhaust cover gaskets on my '88 8hp Johnny. When I disassembled them, neither one had sealant with the gaskets. Should I use sealant (rtv,etc.) with the new gaskets or not? Thanks! Seamule

    Oil or Grease?

    I'm rebuilding a 91 50hp Yamaha and my Clymer's manual says to oil the crankshaft bearings before reassembly. My question is would it harm anything if I greased them instead with a high temp grease vice the oil? Pro's and cons would be helpful. Thanks!

    Yamaha 50..deal or not?

    I just acquired a Yamaha 50 motor that has one piston frozen up. No cracks just needs a piston although I plan on replacing all three since I have to get into the block.
