    Transducer in the keel

    Hi all I just wanted to know if it would be ok to mount a GT 52 transducer into a cutout in the keel it would mean that both ends will be blocked off but I'm not sure if that will make any difference to the workings of the transducer, any advice as always most welcome.

    Wire to starter motor

    This may sound like a silly question but do you run a heavy live wire straight to the starter motor or should it go through the master switch, I have every thing else running off the switch but just wasn't sure if the main power to the starter should have a cutoff. Thanks
