Anyone ever tried Red Cedar as stringers? Seams like this would be real rot resistant , should soak up epoxy well too. Any thoughts on this idea?????? Thanks again, RR

Can anyone help me solve the issue of E vs. S type cloth? I know S type is supposedly 25 to 30% stronger than E type , but if using an epoxy resin instead of polyester would there really be that much difference in the strength between the two types? Thanks for any advice , RR
