I now have a 19' MFG OB and I will be attempting a complete floor restoration. When I get to the glassing the floor phase...what is best combination? Which is better...epoxy or polyester resin? Which __oz. glass is recommended? Thanks for any advice you can offer !!!
I have been reading these stringer / floor replacement projects and noticed that everyone uses plywood. Can solid wood be used for stringers ? What is best advised for plywood deck ratings? Thanks for your time !
I now have a 1975 MFG 19ft. with the rotted floor removed. Foam still in place and appears O.K.. I have questions about type of plymood for stringers & deck. Also, are there any alternatives instead of a fiberglas deck? Where is the best source of info. on this winter project?
I have recently purchased a used boat/motor & trailer (from Delaware). The trailer is a 2001 LoadRite with Surge brakes. I live in Maryland. Someone told me that they didn't think Surge brakes were legal in Maryland. Does anyone out there know the law on this ???
Mercury 150, Serial #0D044622. When I bought the boat I was told 96. I found a receipt in a box of paperwork that appears to list a 91. Thanks for any help you can provide. P.S. How would you rate this model ?
