    idle problems

    i have a 72 johnson 50hp, i can only start it in a high idle, after letting it run i turned the idle down but it only runs so long then i get a puff out of one carbs and it kicks down farther then dies, i can catch it before it idles down and it revs high and kicks down again, so u think i have...

    proper lower unit oil change

    ok i have a 72 50 hp hydro electric drive , i bought sierra type c gear lub, and i want to change the lower oil, just not sure how much and pretty much how...i was told take both plugs out drain it, put bottom plug in and fill to the oil hole? , but is this right, i thought it had to be filled...

    ok i have a 72 50 hp hydro electeric drive, ok at first i couldnt get it out of forward, yesterday i hooked up a 12v source to the lower end and it did shift, hooked it all back up today and everything seems to be workin fine , the original owner said that something was wrong with the lower end...

    i was wondering where is the exaust supposed to come out on a 72 50 hp johnson, also do u think that a 50 hp could pull a skier? and one more thing is the prop supposed to have alil bit of up and down play not in and out? thanks Jeremy ps im probably gonna be askin more ?S haha
