    Hey, Look! Another overheating problem!!!

I have a 1989 Wellcraft Eclipse with a 5.7L Mercruiser Alpha one, Raw water cooled. I recently ran it on the muffs in the yard, and she purrs like a kitten, and seems to pee a fairly decent stream out the drive leg hole, as well as some spurting water blowing out with the exhaust. At idle (750...

    Trolling plate, or drive-mount electric????

OK, guys... I just bought a 21.5 foot wellcraft with a 260HP Alpha one in/out. I want to do some trolling, but have no clue on what would be most effective/cost efficient. Possible Leaky Alpha One???

I just bought a 1989 wellcraft 216 Eclipse, 5.7L Merc/Alpha one. I had a marine mechanic go through it and perform an inspection of the boat. He attached a small air pump and gauge to the lower unit, and supposedly it should have held at 7 psi. The gauge went to 8 or so, then slowly backed off...

    1989 Wellcraft Eclipse 216

Just bought a 1989 wellcraft 216 eclipse 21 foot cuddy, powered by a 5.7L Mercruiser/Alpha one. I took her home for 4200 bucks. Minty shape, except for the drive unit not holding a full 7 pounds of air pressure when tested. The gauge would vome up to about 8 psi, then drop slowly to about 4.5-5...
