    I'm interested it putting twin tohatsu 50's on my jon boat. What do I have to do to get one prop to turn counter clockwise. They'll both be tiller drives also. I must go now, and catch many fish, and eat many gar.

    tohatsu blender

    About how long can you run a tohatsu prop up and out of the water at low rpm? I'm hoping 9-10 seconds. That would be enough time to drop 2 or 3 carp on to the prop.

    Is the Tohatsu 40D used in racing at all? What do they do to it? At almost 700cc, isn't this thing made to rip?

    old johnson 3 horse

    Could somebody please give me some info, if possible, on an old Johnson I'm looking at buying from a co-worker. The I.D. #'s are JW23A. I believe it's green and white in color, and it's a 3 horse. I'm just wondering what year, parts availability, care, etc. It will just be going on a canoe...

    Prop pitch for flat bottom

    I'm looking at putting a 10.5x17 ss prop on an aged 1648 jon boat. The motor is a newer Tohatsu 40D. My stock props are 11x15, which work ok but, leave me pushing low 30's. I went to a michigan vortex 10? x 16 and the motor really wound out, guessing its just a crap wheel. Anyways, just...

    tohatsu 40d carbs

    I bought a 2005 "Honorable Tohatsu" 40d last april, and noticed the carbs only open up half way with the throttle wide open. My question is, if the 50's need bigger carbs and tubes like Elvin says, why do they engineer the 40's this way?
