    Oil/temp alarm module

    Hi, I have a 1995 Merc 40 hp, 4 cyl, 2 stroke, with an alarm that tests bad. The number on it is 14857A8 2634. Looking for a new part, I can find A16 and some other numbers, but A8 seems to be only available used. Does anyone know if an "A8" is interchangeable with other "A" part numbers. Thanks.
