Having trouble getting the flywheel pulled off of a 54 johnson.25 h.p..have applied lifting pressure and tapped on the center...afraid to get too rough with it... ive pulled probably twenty flywheels but have never had one stuck like this....what is the proper procedure?? It's so col to be on...
O.k. here is the scoop.. i've got a johnson 9.5 that i've been having trouble getting to pump water, i think ive narrowed it down to a grommet and a gasket at the base of the motor..how big of a deal is it to remove the engine so i can replace this gasket and grommet?? i guess what im asking is...
I recently bought a 1954 johnson seahorse 25 h.p(green).I cant find ant seriel numbers on it..It's been sitting for probably at least twenty years...i was going to replace the points and condensor, and replace the waterpump but havent been able to locate any parts to do this...any ideas...
