    Loose shifter on '93 Baja Islander with Merc 4.3

    Just purchased a '93 Baja Islander 180 and noticed the throttle/shifter is pretty loose. There appears to be a threaded hole at the base of the shifter that I am guessing is where a tightening screw or bolt should be. It looks like the "screw" is missing as it is just an empty hole. Any ideas...

    I am looking at an 18' 1993 Baja Islander I/O with a Mercruiser 4.6LX. Boat is in good condition, but the owner says he has not serviced the engine in over 6 years!     Looking for part for '87 Bayliner Capri

    I pulled the ski tow plate off the floorboard of my 87 and it is completely rusted out underneath. It is the chromed base piece the ski pole connects into. Does anyone know a source I could go to to get it replaced? I could try having it rechromed, but I fear it is too far decomposed and...
