    oil leaks

    25hp, 1973 Evinrude leaking oil from opening halfway up on rear of transon (water outlet?)also leaking from small hole slightly above and to the left of lower unit drain plug. Serious problems or can I fix by replacing seals/gasket? Any help is apppreiciated.

    Battery location

    My bow mounted Minn Kota troll motor is connected to a marine battery in stern, 14' boat, would it be better to have batt in bow to shorten length of connection cable for better efficency? Gas Motor is electric start hooked to same battery. Also any suggestions on what manuals to get for...

    Evinrude Motor Year

    On an evinrude outboard motor the #25302<br />AE0008712 are on transom plate, is this a 25hp, 1982 model? Also what does the AE0008712 have to do with? Thanks.
