1975 Mercury 140 I/O.
If I add a fuel water seperator between the fuel tank and fuel pump, do I still need the filter in the pump as well as in the carb?

I have a 1976 Starcarft with a mercruiser 140 and matching outdrive.
I know it needs a tune up.
I noticed that there is no mercury info in the STICKY section.
Where can I get a service manual specific to my power train??
Where do I find a tune up kit??

I am the Very Proud new owner of a 1976 Starcraft SS18.
I/O version with 140 mercruiser.
I drove 400 km north to pick it up and 400 km home last Tuesday.
Approx 4 hours each way.
