I some how got the keyway installed wrong and it made a new groove in brass in the impeller. That probally is causing it to spin on the shaft. Is there some kind of trick to tapping the new impeller onto the keyway? Glue ect.???
My motor runs cool under high throttle but in the ocean at around 3 k rpms gets hot. Heads hot to touch. Looking at 195 or so. Checked most things. Can I let it run this hot? Is the temp gauge off?
Looking to turn up the idle as the carbs were rebuilt and the mechanic is a pain to get over too. I read the book and it looks like they say how to adjust the fuel mixture and timing screw????. Isn't there just one screw that will set it up? Motor is 94 carbbed v6 2.5 liter.
