    omc 2.3 sputters at 3000 rpms

    I have a 17' silverline open bow with the 2.3 omc outdrive. Just a little background...I bought the boat with a cracked head, the boat has set from last summer too now. I fixed the head problem.It starts and idels great but sputters and cut out at rpms anywhere above 3000 I can try too...
