I'm rebuilding (attempting) a '57 SeaKing 25 which has the same engine block design as the Johnson/Evinrude 25/30/35 of that era. I want to get the bypass covers off to inspect and clean the intakes and I'm having a really hard time getting them out. Any suggestions or tips?
