    1994 merc 40

    I just had carbs rebuilt and now when i kill it it wont start up.If i put my hand over one of the carbs and choke it it starts right up.It starts fine at first start and once it cools off the problem starts.Any info would be a big help.

    engine wont rev on 1994 40 hp

    This engine runs fine at idle and starting.When i put it in gear it wont plane out and it only runs about half throttle under load . I checked the primer bulb and it got firm but i noticed that fuel was coming out of one of the carbs.Does this mean that the float is stuck? And would it prevent...

    does anyone know any thing about this motor ?<br />is it good or bad? it has only been used a few times and garage kept. looks brand new.
