    oil pan filling with water

    I was given a boat that has a 350 gm motor and omc stringer drive. The stringers had roted and crushed toward the transom,so the boot riped and filled the boat with water. I am not sure how high the water level got but there was about two gallons in the motor when we pumped the water oil mixture...

    Mercruiser wiring

    I was looking at buying a new wire harness to go from the motor to the dase and found 8 pin,9pin,and 10pin plugs. My question is does the plastic alignment pin count as one of the pins? I have 9pins including the dowel pin and 8 pins if you don't?????

    600 cfm on a 3.0 merc

    I want to replace my old ragged out carbatooter with a new one. When I got online to see how much they are I coundnt believe that it is over $500 bucks for the original two barrel(as soon as you put marine in front of the name the price seems to double)not that I would run a none marine...

    I am trying to find out what ratio the rocker arms are.They seem to be the same size as a sb chevy 1.5 but I was also told by someone else that they are the same as a in line 6 1.72. Or if you could tell me how to measure them to find out my self that would be greatly appreciated also?

The thing was running very bad so we did a tuneup, rebuilt the carb,changed the plugs pionts condenser all that stuff, and changed the oil. when we put it back in the water it fires...
