    hot battery

    can someone explain to me why my battery terminals would be fire hot? The cables almost melted off when i started my boat. After it ran for a while the terminals were normal temp. Do I have a nad connection? Both were very hot.

    Deep Cycle/Trolling Motor

    Can someone please explain the difference? On my boat I have a stowaway deep cycle that I use to start my engine. For my trolling motor I have an everstart that runs the trolling motor. The everstart also says deep cycle/trolling on the side of it. Could the stowaway be used for trolling?
