Can anyone identify this part(its a seal of some kind).
When I removed the lower unit this part was wedged between the exhaust tube and the outside casing.
It was not attached to anything.

Just spent $150 for all the seals, impeller etc to fix the water pump.
After we pulled the foot off a very badly worn piece of red rubber/foam dropped out of the exhaust tube as well as a small black seal of some kind.
Well, no problem, I thought I will just order one.

My 1997 150 hp Saltwater Yamaha will not get on plane.
Unit starts just fine, but no power.
I checked the plugs at idle and have no spark on the upper top left cylinder and the bottom right cylinder. Should these plugs have spark?
