    i have a 7.5 hp mercury outboard ser. no. 4t33993. was wondering if any one knew what year model it was?

    cooling problem 7.5 mercury

    I bought a 7.5 mercury that had been in storage for 3 years. when I ran the motor there was no water coming out of the pee hole. does the motor need flushing or is it a more serious problem. p.s I ran the motor for 3-5 minutes before catching it. could it have messed the motor up.
