I have an 87 Wellcraft 18ft. classic with 3.0L Merc alpha one.
Does anyone know if there is a way to increase rpm's with the drivers throttle, while in nuetral? I do not see a way to "push a button" at throttle to rev engine in nuetral and increase rpm's like on most boats...

Recently purchased a 1987' 18ft Wellcraft open bow classic. First time on water last weekend. While looking at all the gauges on dash, I noticed everything worked except the water temp gauge.
Please assist with remedy and where to start looking for problem.

Recently pruchased a 1987 Wellcraft 18ft. classic bow rider with 3.0 L Mercruiser/aplhaI. First time on water last weekend and I noticed the boat pulls to the left extremely hard. If you let go of steering wheel at 20mph the boat would do a doughnut to the left.
