Hey im having trouble with my motor it's a 1995 johnson and it seems to be bogging down when i first put it into gear at about 2000 rpm's i can feel my way thru it and after it passes the 2000 mark im good to go it seems to act up only at that mark any ideas we be great thanks ....
I had an issue with my motor bogging down , after alot of troubleshooting i found out that one of my spark wires was not connected inside the boot causing this problem i took it out for a test spin after changing all the wires and she seemed to have run great at first then when i was @ 5500 rpm...

i think i might have narrowed down my problem one of my jumper cables on one of my plugs was not connected i pulled the cable right out of the plug so do you think that could have caused all the bogging down when i first hit the throotle and i got a replacement set of cables and had too make...
I put that seafoam stuff in the carb's tonight and let it sit for 1/2 hour and then started the boat up and it seem to have made the symtoms worse than before any ideas on how long it takes to burn this stuff out everybody seem to rave about this stuff ???? . Should i pull the plugs to see if...
I just installed a fuel / water seperator on my boat i left about 2-3 ft of hose in the transome i kind of loops downs then back up do you think this is too much hose to leave and maybe this can cause air pockets ??

OK im really going nuts with this i changed my fuel pump VRO and changed primer and filter but im still having problems when im in idle the but idles fine and when i give it throtle it is gtreat no problem , Now when i put the boat in gear and start to give it throtle she stallls out @ around...
Im putting a water seperator in my boat my question is does it make a difference how long the hose is inside the transom i was going to cut it but i think i might leave it the same size any ideas would be great ?
I have to change out my fuel pump vro2 system and i was wondering if anyone out there can give me some advice should i replace it with a vro2 oil injected or put the type w/o oil and mix the gas/oil manually ???

I started getting symtoms the other day when i started to open up the throttle the motor would bog down alittle the when i pulled back up it would be ok . Then yesturday i went to start her up and it's runs for about a minute when giving it throtle but then she dies out i changed the primer bulb...
Im having alittle trouble with my 115 O.B. when i give it throttle to fast she is bogging down and sometimes she stalls and sometimes she loses power any ideas why it's doing this ? When i steadily give it throttle its fine only when i push it down fast ?
