    Maximum horsepower for 21 ft islander

    My boat had a V6 OMC cobra setuo. I am thinking about installing a V8 350 mercruiser with an Alpha One outdrive. Is the motor to much horsepower and weight? It is hard to find a V6 Mercruiser. I think I read the transom cutout will work with the Alpha. I am putting in a new floor and transom. Thanks

    1977 70HP Evinrude will not go

    Bogged down late last year to 2 or 3 miles per hour. We had used the boat a few months and it ran good. Replaced power pack, coils, rebuilt carbs.
